Frank Capek Trio - Frank's Waltz

This is another original tune I composed. My first jazz waltz based on part of the chord progression from "Alice In Wonderland". Kenny MacKenzie is playing piano, my son Frankie on drums, and I'm on upright bass. This was also recorded in my home music room using the ZOOM H2 Handy Recorder.

Wednesday Night Jam Sessions

For over five years now Dr. Joseph Rozas has hosted jam sessions every Wednesday night at his home in St.Augustine beach. Musicians from Palm Coast,
Ormond Beach, as well as St. Augustine show up for the two hour session of Jazz, Bebop, Latin, and Funk music. That's the good doctor playing his tenor sax. He also plays guitar, conga drums and timbales as well as a mean blues harmonica.

Just a few photos of the core of musicians that show up each and every week.

Upcoming original jazz music to come.

During the past few weeks I have been recording my original jazz compositions written from back in 1995 to 2011. We are almost done but have another recording session plus mixing and mastering to do yet. I'm playing my German upright bass and using the well known and excellent jazz pianist, Kenny Mackenzie along with my super drummer, Frank, Jr. who worked and recorded with me previously in the Generation Gap band.
Hopefully I'll be ready to showcase those recordings right here before the new year.
